My grade

Ontario Grades 1–8 — Primary (1–3), Junior (4–6), Intermediate (7–8). Math and science strand games, Math Sprint, and word puzzles scale to this grade. Picking a grade in any arcade game updates this setting automatically.

Math assist tier

How much the game eases difficulty when your kid struggles. Default: Gentle.

Accessibility (AODA)

Label size on compact layouts — word search grids, Sudoku pencil marks, crossword clues, Solitaire cards, and on-screen keyboards.

Sudoku number input

How the digit buttons are arranged while playing Sudoku.

Sudoku board assist

Highlight the row, column, and 3×3 box for the selected cell to spot moves faster.

Alley room theme

Changes the habitat backdrop on the Alley, and the sky/floor scene in your Yard.

Learning tools

Optional aids for quiz games at home. Off by default — follow your teacher's rules at school.

Trail challenge (Yukon / Piste)

Extra difficulty for the Klondike journey sim. Departure season stays on the game setup screen — these settings only change daily pace and rations.

Mascot branding

Axol mode uses axolotl mascot copy (default). Axo mode switches pet references to lizard fun branding. The app name stays Axo Alley either way.

Optional real-world checklist — once or several times a day. Small Axol-Coins when a quest's daily count is finished; arcade play still earns the most loot.

Axo Alley is a kid-safe virtual pet hangout where learning feels like play. Kids in Ontario Grades 1–8 practice math and science strands, French, reading, and logic in short arcade sessions — then return to their alley to care for companions, decorate, and celebrate progress.
